Creating communities where connection comes naturally.
Imagine a community where people feel connected, welcome and seen. Deeper Communities creates simple opportunities for conversation, kindness and belonging—because a simple hello can make a deeper difference.
Connection creates belonging
Deeper Communities was founded by local community leaders who saw a need for more opportunities to connect in their area. We create practical, welcoming ways for people to meet, look out for one another and feel part of something bigger - their community.
Our philosophy is simple: connection creates belonging, belonging strengthens communities, and stronger communities create opportunities to change lives.
Say G’day is active across Adelaide, while GLASS EMPTY and Community Tables are currently available in Aldinga, Sellicks Beach and Willunga with opportunity for expansion through other participating communities.

Say G’day
A simple invitation to put down your phone, look up and start a conversation. Say G’day is currently active across South Australia, helping pubs, cafes and community spaces make everyday connection feel more natural.
GLASS EMPTY
A recognisable signal that can open the door to support. GLASS EMPTY helps hospitality venues encourage people to notice, ask and listen when someone may be experiencing emotional distress. Available in Aldinga, Sellicks Beach and Willunga.
The Whisperer Team
Everyday community members who help create more supportive environments by noticing, asking and listening. Whisperers encourage connection and help people find appropriate support when they need it.
Community Tables
Welcoming tables where people can share conversation without needing an invitation or existing friendship group. Community Tables are currently available in Aldinga, Sellicks Beach and Willunga.
Be part of a deeper community
There are many ways to help create stronger, more connected communities across South Australia. Become a Founding 50 Member, host or join a Community Table, register your venue for Say G’day or GLASS EMPTY, join the Whisperer Team, volunteer or support our work.
Together, we can make it easier for people to connect, feel welcome and look out for one another. If you would like to get involved in another way, contact Deeper Communities and start the conversation.
